How Crestview AC Desk works

Crestview AC Desk is a free referral service for homeowners in Crestview and the rest of Okaloosa and Walton counties, from Baker to Destin and 30A. We are not an HVAC contractor. We are not connected to Eglin AFB or Hurlburt Field, or to any utility. When you send a request, we pass it to an independent local HVAC company that serves your area, and they contact you to price and schedule the work.

1. Tell us what the system is doing. Use the form or call. A photo of the unit helps.
2. A licensed local HVAC company calls you back. They ask a few questions and book a time to come out.
3. You approve the price before work starts. The technician diagnoses the problem and quotes the repair. You decide.

How we make money

The HVAC company pays us for the introduction. You never pay us anything. We don't do repair work, and we don't set the company's prices.

Who we refer you to

We only work with companies that hold a current Florida air conditioning (CAC or RA) or mechanical (CMC or RM) contractor license. You can look up any contractor's license and its status yourself at MyFloridaLicense.com, and we suggest you do. How to check a license.

What we ask of the company

A price before any work starts, a written quote for anything beyond a simple repair, and no pressure. If your experience falls short of that, tell us at (850) 753-2159.

Every guide ends with the sources it used. The weather and housing numbers are our own analysis of public data from NOAA and the US Census Bureau. Storm figures come from the National Hurricane Center, the National Weather Service and FEMA. See the method.
